From CDmon we have the option for easily redirecting a web domain to another URL address. Here we show you how with different web destinations.
WordPress redirections
From the Control Panel
For creating a redirection of our domain to WordPress, we access “Registered Domains” from our Control Panel in CDmon. Here we select any domain we want to redirect by clicking on the name of the domain or on “Manage”.
At Redirections and DNS settings we click on “Web redirections” and “Manage redirections” and we add the redirection “Web with and without www” with the destination URL address http://user.wordpress.com.
Important: even though it is a correct way of redirecting our domain to WordPress, it isn’t the best for SEO positioning.
From the WordPress DNS servers
In this case, it is necessary to have purchased a Premium service with WordPress to be able to verify the domain:

Wix redirections
In Wix webs are created in Flash and for this reason we must take into account the following:
1.- Flash has been discontinued by Adobe (except for creating video games and applications) and are not offering new updates.
2.- Search engines don’t like websites created with Flash. If we need our company to be found in Internet through the search of keywords, Wix will not be the best option.
You can find help in Wix at the following link: We can find more help on Wix at the following link:
To redirect our domain to Wix we can do so in three different ways: by URL, by IP or by the DNS Servers.
Redirection by URL
To redirect the domain by URL we access “Registered Domains” in our Control Panel at CDmon. Here we select the domain we wish to redirect by clicking on the domain name or on “Manage”.
In redirections and DNS settings we click on “Web redirections” and “Manage redirections” and we add the redirection “Web with and without www” with destination URL address
http://usuario.wix.com/userpage
Important: even though this is a correct way of redirecting our domain to Wix, it isn’t the best for SEO positioning.
By IP redirection
To redirect a domain by IP you need to purchase Wix Premium. Check the manual on how to obtain the IP at the following link:
Create an A Record and a CNAME record in your CDmon Control Panel pointing to the domain DNS records:
- One A record with, origin address (@) and destination to the Wix IP.
- A CNAME, with origin address www and mydomain.com.
Connecting through DNS servers
In this case you need to purchase a Premium Wix account, but first, consider that if you have your email at CDmon or another entity different from Wix and you change DNS servers of our domain by those of Wix, your email will stop working.
To change the DNS Servers by those of Wix follow these steps:
1.- Access the domain manager
Access "Registered Domains" in our Control Panel at CDmon. Here we select the domain we want to redirect by clicking on the domain name or on “Manage”.
2.-Access DNS Servers management
In the Management and DNS Servers section click on “Manage Servers” from where you can change DNS Servers by ns1.wix.com and ns2.wix.com.
Lastly, you need to link the domain from Wix.
If you change DNS servers by those of Wix and you wish to have your email at CDmon, create the necessary A and MX records in order to make the redirection.
http://es.wix.com/support/main/html5/dominios-email/administrar-los-registros-de-tu-dominio#
You will need to create the following records:
To mail IP email server Incoming (imap or pop3)
To IMAP IP SC Incoming (imap or pop3)
To POP3 IP SC Incoming (imap or pop3)
To Webmail IP SC Incoming (imap or pop3)
To SMTP IP SC Outgoing (smtp)
MX mail.mydomain.com
When creating these records, you will need to know which is your IP. You can find this information directly at your Control Panel in CDmon, accessing our hosting manager. Follow these steps:
1.- Access hosting management
First click on “List of hostings” and then, on the line of the hosting whose IP you want to know, click on “Manage”.

From Blogger
Access Blogger and the section “Publishing” and add your own domain. The system will ask for verification, and being unable to do so, it will notify you that you need to create two CNAME records which are the ones you need to create in the CDmon DNS records.
From your Control Panel access “Registered Domains”. Here select the domain you wish to redirect by clicking on the domain name or on “Manage”.
In redirections and DNS configurations click on “Manage records” and create two CNAME:
